ReflexLab is a reaction time benchmark app for Android with 4 distinct game modes. Classic mode is a pure reaction time test – wait for the screen to change from red to blue, then tap as fast as you can. Rapid Fire is a tap speed test that measures how many times you can tap in 3 seconds. Stroop mode is based on the Stroop Effect from cognitive psychology – a test of focus and impulse control. Phantom Ring is a precision timing test that measures your visual-motor accuracy in pixels.
The average human reaction time to a visual stimulus is around 250 milliseconds. Most people score between 200ms and 300ms on a standard reaction time test. Professional gamers and athletes typically score below 200ms. In ReflexLab, scores are rated from SUPERHUMAN (under 150ms) to STILL WAKING UP (over 400ms) across 10 performance tiers.
Gamers training their reaction speed before competitive matches. People curious how fast their reflexes are. Anyone who wants a quick daily challenge to build a streak. If you've ever tried Human Benchmark on your computer and wanted something similar on your phone – with more modes and progress tracking – that's what ReflexLab is.
ReflexLab is a game designed for entertainment and personal benchmarking. It is not a medical or clinical tool.
